How scoring high percentage in CBSE is easier in comparison to State Boards

While throughout the country and specially in Bihar there is an intense uproar over the Bihar Board results, 64 % students failed. Students who have cleared IIT mains, NDA, Engineering and many other exams have failed in class XII Bihar Board exams and that also scoring merely 4,5 or 6 marks in Physics, Chemistry etc.
While in Central Board of Secondary Education up to 10 marks were given as grace for candidates who failed to get qualifying marks. Up to 11 extra marks were given in accountancy, 10 in mathematics and 8 in Physics and Chemistry.
This is apart from set-wise moderated marks awarded due to difference in difficulty level and other discrepancies. In addition , there are set-specific extra marks given to same question paper(s). For example while physics has been awarded 8 marks as moderation, for 'SET 2' and 'SET 3', an additional 1 marks has been awarded
