CBSE : Pattern for 2022-23 Exams (Class X & XII)
According to the circular shared by CBSE on 20th May'22.
*Changes introduced by CBSE in Assessment & Evaluation practices for Academic Session 2022-23.*
*Class IX & X*
1. Annual Examination scheme re-introduced from next session 2022-23 (Termwise exam scheme revoked).
2. Minimum 40% Questions are of Competency based.
3. These MCQ type questions are case based or source based integrated or of similar type.
4. Objective type questions will be 20%.
5. Remaining 40% questions are of Short answer or long answer type (as per existing pattern).
*Class XI & XII*
1. Annual Examination scheme re-introduced from next session 2022-23 (Termwise exam scheme revoked).
2. Minimum 30% Questions are of Competency based.
3. These MCQ type questions are case based or source based integrated or of other similar type.
4. Objective type questions will be 20%.
5. Remaining 50% questions are of Short answer or long answer type (as per existing pattern).
*Note*
1. No changes in the pattern (20:80)of internal assessment.
2. Sample paper based on new pattern will be released on CBSE portal.
