NTSE Stage II 2019-20 is scheduled on 14th Feburary 2021, since the date has been announced lots of rumors are floating in social media leading to panic among the NTSE Stage I 2019–20 qualified students
The latest rumor for which I recieved calls/msgs from many parents and students is - about 20 Thousand application forms has not been verified by the School Principals and can lead to problems. Now every students wants to know, whether an NTSE Stage I qualified student has to fill a form for NTSE Stage II and get it Certified from his/her school
I went through the media reports and found that it's a news published from Patna and is related to Bihar NTSE Stage I 2020-21.
In the news published, a line said that earlier this exam was scheduled on 7th February, now rescheduled to 14th Feb. Due to Covid 19 situations, NTSE Stage II was postponed. This has led to confusion among the NTSE Stage I qualified students
First of all NTSE Stage I qualified students are not required to fill any form for appearing in NTSE Stage II. Respected State authorities send the list of NTSE Stage I qualified students to NCERT and NCERT issues the admit card for NTSE Stage II. Second thing, only about 8500 students qualify for NTSE Stage II from all over the country, the number is not 20000
My sincere advise to every NTSE aspirant is to concentrate on your preparation for NTSE Stage II rather then worrying about any rumours. If any notification is issued by NCERT, it will be displayed on the website of NCERT
Still, if you have any query then get it cleared on the given contact number of NCERT officials or by writing an email to the concerned NCERT officials
