Q.196. Find out the wrong one about Secondary Sector
(1) Secondary sector is also called as Industrial sector.
(2) Manufacturing of bricks and sugar come under secondary sector
(3) The share of Secondary sector is more in current GDP of India
(4) None of the above
According to the Official answer key correct answer is Option (2)
Correct answer should be Option (4)
Explanation - There is no doubt about Option (1) & (2) both are related to Secondary Sector
Option (3) is a bit uncertain. (The share of secondary sector is more in current GDP of India). It is not clearly mentioned that share of Secondary sector is more than Primary or Tertiary sector. But if we go by the data of year 2010-11, obviously share of Secondary sector is more than Primary. Hence even this statement cannot be termed as wrong.
So only option left is Option (4)
(Graph 1- GDP by Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Sector, Page No. 24, NCERT Economics Book, Class X)

SOLUTION: Distillation  is used for the separation of components of a mixture containing two miscible liquids that boil without decomposition and have sufficient difference in their boiling points. To separate a mixture of two or more miscible liquids for which the difference in boiling points is less than 25 K, fractional distillation process is used, for example, for the separation of different gases from air, different factions from petroleum products etc. The apparatus is similar to that for simple distillation, except that a fractionating column is fitted in between the distillation flask and the condenser.
