Youngest to clear IIT-JEE
Satyam Kumar, a Bihar farmer's son at the tender age of 13-years old cleared the fiercely competitive Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) and secured an impressive all-India rank of 679.
Satyam, who hails from Bakhorapur village in Bhojpur district qualified for admission into IIT at the age of 12-and-a-half years after he got a special permission from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). He had then secured an all-India rank of 8,137. Not satisfied with his low rank, he appeared for the IIT-JEE preliminary examination again and qualified.

Born on 20th July 1999, Satyam had the distinction of being the youngest student to crack the IIT exam, breaking the record of Delhi’s Sahal Kaushik, who achieved the distinction of clearing the exam at 14.
A very simple, down to earth but damn hard working student from a simple farmer family, Satyam always had & till date has great respect for his teachers and it was a wonderful experience to be associated with and to teach this Child Prodigy

Single exam Patten in Board Exams 2022-23
There is much ado about the board exam pattern for class 10 and class 12 board examinations for the 2022-23 academic year. Students, schools, and other board examination stakeholders are in a fix on whether single exam pattern board examinations will resume from next year or the current two-tier board examination pattern will continue.
Finally, there is some clarity about the examination pattern from the media reports indicating that a single exam pattern is likely to replace the current two-tier examination pattern.
SINGLE EXAM OF CLASS 10 & 12 FROM NEXT YEAR
Several media reports are now indicating and claiming that the CBSE is most likely to switch to its pre-covid-19 exam pattern of conducting a single exam for class 10 and class 12 board examinations instead of the current system of bifurcating it into 2 examinations named Term-1 and Term-2 examinations.
The two-tier CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 were introduced for the first time in the year 2021-22 in view of dealing with the unprecedented situation of Covid-19 pandemic as schools remained closed for a long period due to the pandemic crisis.
COVID-19 DECLINE BEHIND THE DECISION!
Apparently decline in the Covid-19 pandemic situation is believed to be the major reason behind CBSE’s possible move of returning to single exam pattern. The class 10 and 12 board examinations were canceled in the year 2020-21 due to the Covid-19 crisis so CBSE decided to bifurcate the class 10 and 12 board examinations last year (2021) into Term-1 and Term-2 examinations.
Now when the Covid-19 situation has improved, CBSE has decided to return to its pre-Covid single exam pattern.
